NATIONAL DEFENSE AUTHORIZATION ACT COMPLIANCE STATEMENT
February 1, 2021
The John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act (“NDAA“”) for Fiscal Year 2019 is a United States federal law which specifies the budget, expenditures, and policies of the United States Department of Defense. Section 889 of the NDAA, among other things, prohibits U.S. government and U.S. government contractors and grant recipients from procuring “covered telecommunications equipment or services” from certain Chinese companies and their subsidiaries.
Otter Products, LLC (“Otter Products“) confirms that it does not currently offer for sale to the U.S. government and U.S. government contractors and grant recipients “covered telecommunications equipment or services” or products containing “covered telecommunications equipment or services” as described in Section 889(a)(1)(A) of the NDAA.
